It doesn't matter to me whether the web site my client needs is large or small, every custom web site I build is a totally individualized design that is based on the needs, and personality of the business that I'm dealing with. As part of my unique service, I work up several demonstration web sites before any client even commits to hiring me. I do try to spend time thinking about who they are, and what they want the web site to do before recommending the final design.

Although the right look is often developed on the first try, I have been known to work on as many as six or eight totally different web designs before the inspiration "hits" and just the right image is developed, and that's how I like it. I'd rather punch out half a dozen designs than have any of my clients end up with a website that doesn't fit them.
